Julian Turecek, Investment Manager
Julian has over 17 years experience in the energy industry, with a strong emphasis on emerging greenhouse markets. Prior to joining Cleantech Ventures, Julian was a senior manager at Origin Energy where he most recently led climate change and energy policy. His earlier roles at Origin included setting up and running their carbon markets trading desk and trading in the electricity and gas markets. Previously Julian held trading and marketing positions at BHP Petroleum, Ecogen Energy, Boral Energy and Enron Australia. Julian is a Visiting Fellow (Emissions Trading) at Macquarie University's Applied Finance Centre.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
