03/12/2010 - MetSol successful in bid for Hazwaste support
With EPA support, Metallic Waste Solutions is piloting an innovative process for zinc containing waste. Laboratory and pilot plant results show that the process can economically reduce the volume of waste by up to 90%. The MetSol process uniquely produces a high purity zinc oxide product, which trades at a premium to the zinc metal price. VIC EPA is providing $400,000 HazWaste Funds in support of the project.
